Faith Over Feelings

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Some days, you will not feel ready.

You may not feel strong. You may not feel qualified. You may not feel spiritually sharp. You may not even feel like showing up. But faith was never meant to be built on feelings. Feelings change. Faith stands.

In media ministry, there are Sundays when the pressure is high, the gear is acting strange, the team is short, and your energy is low. But this is where faith becomes more than a word. It becomes your walk. You keep serving because God is faithful, not because everything feels perfect.

Paul reminds us that we walk by faith, not by sight. That means we do not base our obedience only on what we can see, measure, or control. We trust that God is already working ahead of us, even when the moment feels uncertain.

Faith says, “God, I may not see the full picture, but I trust Your hand.”

So today, do not let your feelings be the final authority. Let faith lead you. Let obedience carry you. Let God strengthen you step by step.

You may not feel ready, but God is still with you.

Reflection Question:Where do you need to trust God beyond what you currently see or feel?

Prayer:Lord, help me walk by faith and not by sight. Strengthen me when my emotions feel unstable, and teach me to trust You beyond what I can see. In Jesus’ name, amen.
